Vehicle Anti-Theft Device Giveaway

The City of Long Beach experienced an increase in stolen cars in 2015. In an effort to combat this rise, the Long Beach Police Department has purchased 400 steering wheel locks that they plan to give away to local residents on a first come, first served basis. If you have been a victim of an auto theft or own a vehicle that is one of the top 10 stolen cars, you qualify for the free anti-theft device. The initial giveaways will be done at the following outreach meetings held by Patrol Division Commanders:

To receive your free Anti-Theft device bring a copy of your vehicle registration and/or a Long Beach crime report number from when your car was stolen.
