Happy New Year, Long Beach!

The year is quickly coming to an end and, quite honestly, as I reflect on the multitude of community events, city council meetings, informal chats, and citywide issues tackled by my colleagues and I, I cannot help but swell up with pride at the thought of what our great city and its residents have achieved!
Thanks to an ongoing partnership with City departments, our business community, neighborhood groups, nonprofit organizations, and most importantly, community members such as yourself, we have been able to accomplish much this year and we are looking forward to a very promising 2016!
I encourage you to take time to reflect, celebrate, recharge, and reinvigorate your passion for your community and the City of Long Beach!
