Annual Long Beach Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration
Release Date: 2022-09-13
Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from mid-September to mid-October, by celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans with ancestry in Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.
Councilmember Uranga hosted the first City of Long Beach Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration in 2015, making this the 8th Annual Long Beach Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. We are pleased to be joined by Councilwoman Mary Zendejas, who is cohosting this event. The celebration will include food and entertainment that showcases Latino and Hispanic culture.
